Hand-crafted? Hawaiian? Lava-rock? These are all good things… Getting to review LavaStoneWare’s Celebration Pipes was like a dream come true.
Looks and Design
The pipes are ingeniously made, with the base being cut from lava rock and the bowl plated in 22 karat gold. This makes each pipe wholly unique and one-of-a-kind. The bowls themselves are huge. The piece is quite bulky, overall, but LavaStoneWare never tried to bill this as a discreet smoking device.
Functionality
The gold bowl reflects heat, burning the contents completely and giving a much more potent hit than you’d get from a standard piece. Everything is smooth and works as well as you could want.
The Kit
Celebration Pipes comes in a velvet and satin handmade pouch, as well as a certificate of authenticity from the manufacturer. If you want to buy a Celebration Pipe, prices start at $100. While it’s certainly an awesome piece, shop around for the best deal you can find, though we tried to do that for you.
The Verdict
One question: have you ever smoked out of gold and lava? Think about how awesome that sounds, and then realize that Celebration Pipes totally live up to the hype. The pieces are big but they do a fantastic job and are awesome to look at. 5/5 stars!
