Thinking of putting together a cannabis cookbook? It is hardly any secret that cannabis makes for a superb ingredient for a wide assortment of edibles. Easy to prepare, readily available, and now legal in many states as well, marijuana also packs a uniquely powerful punch that no other ingredient can match. Here are five of the tastiest cannabis-based/cannabis infused treats we have collected for your own cannabis cookbook!

1.  Strawberry Banana Marijuana Pancake

This treat may be too potent for everyday breakfasts, but it is perfect for livening up your weekend mornings!

  • 3 1/3 tablespoons of cannabis butter, melted
  • 1 ½ cups of all-purpose flour
  • 5 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons of baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 ½ cups of milk
  • ½ teaspoon of vanilla
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 pint of strawberries
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
Remove the stems from the strawberries, and slice them up into half-inch pieces.
Mix in 2 tablespoons of sugar and lightly mash the mixture. Set this mixture aside.

Mix together the flour, 3 tablespoons of sugar, salt and baking powder in a large bowl.

Take another bowl and mix the cannabis butter with the milk, bananas, eggs and vanilla. Mix together thoroughly and then combine with the dry mix and the strawberry mixture.

Pour desired amounts of batter in a lightly oiled frying pan. Flip the pancake over when the top surface begins to bubble. When done, the pancakes should be golden brown.

2.  Marijuana Meatloaf

This recipe is a great way to jazz up that boring old meatloaf recipe!

  • ¼ ounce cannabis
  •  pound ground bee
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ package Saltines, crushed
  • 1 packet Lipton’s Tomato Cup-A-Soup
  • ½ cup green pepper, chopped
  • ½ cup onion, chopped
  • 1 loaf pan

Preheat your oven to 350° F. Combine the ground beef, onion, and green pepper in a large bowl and mix thoroughly. Add the saltines, soup, and marijuana to the mixture. Using your hands, roll the mixture into a ball, and dig out a hole with your thumb. Crack the egg open in the hole and mix the ingredients thoroughly. Spread it out into a loaf pan and bake in the oven for half an hour.

3.  Cheeto Fried Chicken

This fried chicken recipe makes use of a standard in every stoner’s pantry: Cheetos!

  • 5 pounds chicken thighs or breasts, skinned and deboned
  • 1 ½ quarts buttermilk
  • 6 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 14 cup chili powder
  • 3 ½ tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 six-ounce bags of Cheetos
  • 8 cups cannabis oil

Mix the buttermilk, kosher salt, chili powder and garlic powder in a large bowl. Add in the chicken and leave in the fridge to marinate for 5 hours or more.

Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it in another bowl. Beat the egg and add it to the mixture along with the cornstarch. Rub the mixture over the chicken pieces thoroughly.

Crush the Cheetos until they are free of lumps. Roll the chicken pieces in the Cheetos until thoroughly coated.

Fry the chicken pieces in cannabis oil at 335° F until golden brown and cooked all the way through.

4.  Hialeah Hash Browns

This weed-infused dish makes a perfect siding!

  • Malangas, chopped and grated
  • 3 to 4 eggs
  • 1 pound cannabis butter
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic

Beat the eggs thoroughly then add the salt, pepper, and garlic along with the malanga. Mix everything together until it forms a thick paste. Refrigerate for at least an hour. Heat up some cannabis butter in a saucepan. Roll desired amounts of the malanga paste into balls and drop them gently into the heated butter. Fry until golden brown and crispy.

5.  Toke-House Cookies

These stoner-rific cookies are perfect for snacks and dessert, and go great with coffee or tea!

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cannabis butter
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs, large
  • 1 ¾ cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup nuts, chopped

Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. In a separate larger bowl, mix the cannabutter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until it is smooth and thick with a cream-like consistency. Add in the eggs one by one, beating the mixture thoroughly after adding each egg. Mix in the flour mixture gradually. Add the chocolate chips and the nuts to the mixture. Drop scoops of dough onto a baking sheet. Preheat your oven to 375° F. Bake the cookies until they are golden brown.
