Winners of the 2015 U.S. Cannabis Cup Denver

The 2015 U.S. Cannabis Cup, hosted by High Times magazine in Denver, was graced by the presence of some of the most familiar names in the cannabis industry, as well as some unexpected new entrants. Presented by MMJ America, Keef Cola and HighThere!, the highly anticipated annual event was even more of a spectacle than it was the previous years. Fiercely contested with some truly remarkable representatives across the various categories, the competition ultimately favored only the very finest.

Here’s how it all panned out.

Best Colorado Sativa Flower – Coming in at number one in the Best Colorado Sativa Flower category was Ghost Train Haze by Greenman Cannabis. It was followed at second place by Sweet Silver Haze by Rocky Mountain High and Pootie Tang by Starbuds at third.

Best US Sativa Flower – The top spot in the Best US Sativa Flower category was won by Ghost Train Haze #13 by Greenway Las Vegas. The second and third spots were won by Veganic Strawberry Cough by Private Stock for Buds & Roses of LA and Green Crack by Christopher Stine, respectively.

Best Colorado Indica Flower – The Best Colorado Indica Flower award went to Louis XIII by Greenman Cannabis. Following closely at second and third were Colorado Bubba by MMJ America Boulder and Black Fire, which was a collaborative effort by Docs Apothecary and the Ethos Collective.

Best US Indica Flower – The Best US Indica Flower category was headed by Granddaddy Purps by Herbal Healing. Making a strong showing in second place was Kosher Kush by Greenwolf LA with Kushco. DaVinci OG by Greenwolf LA with Ghost Crow finished at third place.

Best Colorado Hybrid Flower – First place in the Best Colorado Hybrid Flower category was Kong by Allgreens. At second place was Starkiller by Greenman Cannabis. OG KB Cookies by MMJ America Downtown came in at third.

Best US Hybrid Flower – T.S.T. Cookies by Greenwolf and Top Shelf Terps came in at first place in the Best US Hybrid Flower category, followed by Cali Kush Farms Emperor Cookie Dough by Greenwolf LA at second, and Mega Wellness OG by The Weed, The Wellness Earth Energy Dispensary with Nameless Genetics at third.

Best Sativa Concentrate – Tangie #17 by Gold Coast Extracts was adjudged the best in the Sativa Concentrate category, with Top Shelf Terps Tangie by Top Shelf Terps with Greenwolf LA by Nature’s Lab Extracts coming in at second place. Tangie Shatter by AU Extracts finished strongly for third place.

Best Indica Concentrate – Top honors in the Best Indica Concentrate category were given to Crown OG Sugar by Greenwolf LA/Nature’s Lab Extracts/Crown OG. Space Valley OG (Fresh Frozen) by Pink House with Incredibles came in at second, followed by Kush Company OG Live Resin Batter by Kush Company with Nature’s Lab Extracts and the W.E.E.D. Studio City at third.

Best Hybrid Concentrate – B Mega Wellness OG by Nameless Genetics with The Weed of Studio City secured the top spot in the Best Hybrid Concentrate category, with Crown OG Crumble by Greenwolf LA/Nature’s Lab Extracts/Crown OG and Skywalker OG Kush by Dab Vader/Vader Extractracts following closely behind at second and third place, respectively.

Best Non-Solvent Hash – In the Best Non-Solvent Hash category, Cookies and Cream Cubantech Drysift by Exotic Genetix came in at number one, followed by Strawberry Banangieland 120-73u by Trichome Heavy Extracts with G.C. Rebellion Farms, Greenwolf LA and DNA at number two. At third place was Kimbo Kush Cubantech Drysift by Cuban Hash Queen with Exotic Genetix.

Best Edible – The Best Edible at the Cannabis Cup was Bubba Kush Root Beer 100mg by Keef Cola Signature. Affagato Bar by Incredibles came in second, and at third, Orange Creamsicle Creampop by Sacred Sweets with Trichome Heavy Extractions in collaboration with DNA.

Best Topical – The Best Topical product at the competition was Angel Salve by Champion Cannabis with Evolab. At second place was HIGHGASM by Genusys Compounds and Essences, followed closely behind by Foria Pleasure by Foria.

Best CBD Flower – In the Best CBD Flower category, Tora Bora by MMJ America bested the competition for a strong first place showing. The Nubia by Aficionado/ FreeBorn Selections made it to second place, with Sleeping Giant by Elemental Seeds coming in at third.

Best CBD Concentrate – The Best CBD Concentrate in the competition was OG Tonic which was produced by The Smokers Club in collaboration with Garden of Weedn. At second place was Cannatonic by Natural Mystic Cannabis Caregivers and at third, Industrial Hemp CBD Extract by ISODIOL S.A.

Best CBD Edible – In the Best CBD Edible category, 160 mg Banana Pudding Bar by Shum-Met(TM) Bars in collaboration with Foxtracts won out over the closest competitors: Rockies CBD Enriched Premium Protein Bar by TC Labs/TC Treats at second and Cherry Drops Tincture by Great Lakes Hemp Supplements at third.

Best Booth in the Cannabis Cup – The Best Booth in the Cannabis Cup was set up by Vader Extracts. Rx Green Solutions / The Ethos Collective came in at second, and The Green Solution came in at third.

Best Product – First place in the Best Product category was awarded to Moxie Mix by Bader Extracts. Cloud V by Cloud V came in at second, and Oil Slick by Oil Slick came in at third.

Best Glass Art – In the Best Glass Art category, top honors were given to Qbert by Vader Extracts / Freeek / Pinky. At the second place spot was Mothership Glass by Beehive Concentrates, and at third, Hitman Glass by Hitman Glass.

Best Vaporizer – The Best Vaporizer award at the competition was given to 710 King Pen by Loud Pack Extracts. Second place honors were given to Cloud V by Cloud V. Icredibowl Milkshake Machine by Incredibowl Red Eye Saloon came in at third.

People’s Choice Flowers – The top slot in the People’s Choice Flowers category was given to Cindy White by The Green Solution. Coming in at second was GRiZ Kush by Native Roots, and Bubba Kush by The Clinic Colorado came in at third.

People’s Choice Concentrates – Finally, in the People’s Choice Concentrates category, the first place award was given to Sour Diesel Shatter by The Green Solution. Kosher Kush Live Resin Butter by The Clinic Colorado came in at second, and Orange Herijuana Shatter by Native Roots came in at third.
