After all, Gaga isn’t afraid to be connected with weed; the pop star has even lit up on stage before. And it appears that her next album won’t diverge from course.
Artpop is Gaga’s third album to date, slated for release on November 11th. As part of a promotional campain, Gaga has been releasing one new single every week from the album until it’s release. “Mary Jane Holland” will be the fourth single from Artpop.
The reference in the title isn’t the only hint about the song’s deeper meaning; the lyrics leave little in doubt.
“When I ignite the flames and put you in my mouth
The grass heats up my insides and my brunette starts to sprout
